Antichrist Is Here!

Nearly all Christian churches have songs that tell us we should live within light or walk through lighted roads. We say light is truth and truth sets free but how many of us actually live within it? There are many ways to walk away from lighted paths and we better be careful not to fall into any of them because if we do we will be like ravening wolves grazing with Lord’s lambs.

Yes friends, today we talk about antichrist as an alien to the house of God, someone came from hell to destroy God’s church but; there is no greater antichrist than church’s members who attend regularly and manage well the scriptures but their lives are far from being in harmony with what they preach. That which comes to chapel on Sunday loaded with merchandise to sell to members though it is the Sabbath and should not trade. That who preaches other’s secrets to “honor truth” That who borrows and do not repay his debts because his brothers will understand the circumstances he is crossing. That who has achieved some leadership position and goes around committing offenses in the eye of all unaware that his actions speak so loud that it is impossible to hear his words. That that when mentioning God is not really talking about Christian’s God.

Christian is a multi-lingual people spread all across earth. Regardless of culture and social class they belong to the members of a church group are brothers and treat each other with respect. This is not always true; probably product of a lifetime of friendship (sometimes intimacy is bad advisor) in some wards the bad ones get together and end up ruining the lives of others. There are groups in which Christians behave as if they were the crew of the Animal Farm of Orson Wells 10 years after having overthrown the government and established communism. I refer to the chapter in which amendments to the farm’s laws begin to appear; remember that? We all are equal; but some of us are more equal than others... This kind of member is like a storm that strikes church’s foundations and make it quake. Once basis are corroded from the inside to drop it down from the outside is easy.

It is precisely because the worst enemies of lord’s Church are active members of it that scriptures say that it will come the day when faithful members will have to shelter in their homes to worship God in secret and in private. Living within Light is a simple concept, means living within the limits of God’s laws. Making our actions be always consistent with our words and undoubtedly not to pretend to be what we are not. It’s foolish to pretend being faithful members for a few hours on Sunday because streets are free traffic and the ones who see us pretending on Sundays see us behaving like we really are on weekdays. When our lives are far from God's law attendance to church will not mitigate our faults but will be a heavy anvil that will drag our souls to the abyss. It is to this kind of Christian to whom our Lord will say at the last day  depart from me, hypocrites. I do not know you.

Being member of a church is lots more that being baptized in it. It is living in harmony with the laws that church preaches, that’s why when we joined a religious group say we have convert to that faith. Conversion is a total change in lifestyle, when it comes to Christianity means living the gospel. Those who live the gospel live within light. Who lives within light does it in secret and in private and the impeccability of his life is evident in public.

Antichrist is everyone who debases church living the way he shouldn’t.

 

 

¿Conoces El Anticristo?

Casi todas las iglesias cristianas tienen canciones que hablan de la importancia de andar en la luz o vivir en la luz. Decimos que esa luz es la verdad y que la verdad libera pero ¿cuántos de nosotros vivimos de verdad en la luz? Hay muchas maneras de apartarse de la luz y es mejor cuidar de no caer en ninguna de ellas porque si lo hacemos seremos como los lobos rapaces apacentando con los corderos del Señor.

Si amigos, hoy día hablamos del anticristo como alguien ajeno a la casa de Dios que llegara desde el infierno para destruir la iglesia pero; no hay mayor anticristo que el miembro de la iglesia que asiste regularmente y maneja bien las escrituras pero su vida no es cónsona con aquello que predica. Ese que llega el domingo a la capilla cargado de mercancía que puede vender a los miembros aunque es día de reposo y el no debería comerciar. Ese que pregona la vida ajena “en honor a la verdad” Ese que pide prestado y no paga sus deudas porque sus hermanos entenderán las circunstancias que el atraviesa. Ese que ha alcanzado cierta posición de liderazgo y va por allí cometiendo faltas a la vista de todos sin percatarse de que sus acciones hablan tan fuerte que es imposible escuchar sus palabras. Ese que cuando invoca a Dios no se refiere realmente al Dios de los cristianos.

El cristiano es un pueblo multicolor y poliglota extendido a todo lo largo y ancho de la tierra. Independientemente de la cultura y el estrato social al que pertenezcan los miembros de un grupo en la iglesia son hermanos y se tratan con respeto el uno al otro. Esto no siempre es así; probablemente producto de toda una vida de convivencia (la intimidad a veces es mal consejero) hay grupos en los que los malos se juntan y acaban por arruinar la vida de otros. Grupos en los que los cristianos se conducen como si ellos fueran los animalitos de la granja de Orson Wells 10 años después de haber derrocado el gobierno e instaurado el comunismo. Me refiero a ese capítulo en el que comienzan a aparecer enmiendas a las leyes de la granja; ¿lo recuerdan? Todos somos iguales; pero algunos somos más iguales que otros... Esta clase de miembro es como un vendaval que azota las bases de la iglesia y la hace tambalearse. Una vez corroída por dentro derribar la casa desde afuera resulta fácil.

Es precisamente porque los peores enemigos de la iglesia de Cristo son miembros activos de ella que las escrituras dicen que llegara el día en que los miembros fieles tengan que refugiarse en sus hogares a adorar a Dios en secreto y en privado. Vivir en la luz es un concepto simple, significa vivir dentro de los límites de las leyes de Dios. Hacer que nuestras acciones estén siempre en consonancia con nuestras palabras y sin lugar a dudas no pretender ser lo que no somos. A nadie engañamos fingiendo ser miembros fieles un rato el domingo pues las calles son de libre tránsito y entre semana los mismos que nos ven fingir el domingo nos ven actuar como en realidad somos. Cuando nuestra vida está lejos de Dios la asistencia a la iglesia no es un atenuante a nuestras faltas sino un pesado yunque que arrastrara nuestras almas hasta el fondo del abismo. Es a esta clase de cristiano a los que el Señor dirá en el postrer día apartaos de mi, hipócritas. Yo no os conozco.

Ser miembro de una iglesia es harto más que bautizarse en ella. Es vivir en consonancia con las leyes que esa iglesia predica, por ello cuando nos unimos a un grupo religioso decimos que nos hemos convertido a esa fe. La conversión es un cambio total en el estilo de vida, cuando de cristianismo se trata, significa vivir el evangelio. Quien vive el evangelio vive en la luz. Quien vive en la luz lo hace en secreto y en privado y, la impecabilidad de su vida es evidente en público.

Anticristo es todo el que demerita la iglesia de Dios con sus acciones.
