Bible Isn't The Most Antic Book, Which One Is It Then?

Someone once told me that Bible isn’t the oldest book of Christian doctrine. Asked which one is it then? But never got any answer. If Bible were a text derived from the ancient records by summary or analysis my friend would be right; would by no means be the most ancient text but it is an accurate translation of the ancient records. No words have been changed. It has suffered a few changes over time which is product of the interpreter’s skill; to a greater knowledge of the languages ​​in which the records were written better translation. Therefore specialists have reviewed the text every time when found that something seemed not to properly match with Christian doctrine.

Most of errors contained in Bible are printing errors. They are just a few and vary from one language to another. In my Spanish Bible for example in describing Jerusalem’s gates the omission of a letter by the writer turns what was to be Ruby on anthrax virus. Nothing a dictionary cannot help to notice and correct. While in the church I attend to have their favorite translation I prefer the one used by Evangelical church because it contains fewer errors.

Some Bibles contain more books than others because they are versions previous to the removal of Apocrypha or retained because it is a special version for Theology students. Nothing really needs to read a Christian but serves as studying material for students of the subject. Apocrypha are books whose origin is unknown and almost all are written by pagans rather than by prophets. They belong to a time when surnames did not exist and it was easy to confuse one person with another because name was supported only with the name of the person’s hometown; as populations increased confusion acquired nuances of such a degree that it was necessary to create surnames just as today we also need an identification number.

As in ancient annals pagans granted more respect than we give them today, sometimes a witch crafter was mistaken for a prophet. In ancient times sorcerers were called prophets or oracle only that they were prophets and oracle of a god different from ours. In those days when medicine was not even in diapers they occupied an important place in communities and were given the honor of being counselors of kings and rulers. Today's medicine has made unnecessary health spells and beauty incantations were replaced by cosmetic therefore we find so odious comparison between our prophets and sorcerers. It is easy to know though when the person is one thing or another by the events described. Our prophets would cast a curse only if it was ordained by God; no one could hire them to curse an enemy.

To the many Christians who claim that Bible doesn’t contain all the doctrine; I would ensure it does. We simply got used to reading only those scriptures we need to read ignoring the rest. Those who think, for example, that in millennium will live throughout the whole thousand years on earth and will have plenty of time to amend their faults can find answer to their idea precisely there. It is in Bible where it says that during millennium each man will live 100 years and be transferred. Which also indicates that final judgment is like first one because if will be transferred at hundred years then we are judged at that moment one by one with no chance to argue with God and with our own mind as witness of our deeds.

To those who claim that Bible a difficult book to understand is I must bring up the fact that it was written in such a way that could be understood only by those who are prepared to live gospel. This because to a greater knowledge more severely in God’s judgments so if everyone could understand it almost all of us would end up in hell for not obeying laws that knew but were not ready to implement in our life.

Yes pal, Bible is the oldest text of Christian doctrine translated into all the languages ​​of this world and is also the most complete and the most beautiful one. It contains God’s word as it was written by prophets without missing one iota and its teachings are today in full force. It was written for us, to help us know God and live His teachings and the prophets described the life we lead today because they saw it in visions and knew we would be hard-hearted people and would take as nothing their words. So sometimes we see ourselves reflected in the text, we feel as they are speaking to us from the dust.

 

 

 

¿Si La Biblia No Es El Libro Mas Antiguo Entonces Cual?

Alguien me dijo alguna vez que la biblia no es el libro de doctrina cristiana más antiguo de la tierra. ¿Pregunte entonces cual es? Pero nunca recibí respuesta. Si la biblia fuera un texto obtenido a partir de los anales antiguos mediante resumen o análisis mi amigo tendría razón; no sería de ninguna manera el texto más antiguo pero es una traducción fiel de los anales antiguos. No se han cambiado palabras ni texto alguno. Si ha habido cambios a través del tiempo que son producto de la pericia del traductor; a mayor conocimiento de las lenguas en que los anales fueron escritos mejor traducción. Por ello los especialistas han mandado revisar el texto cada vez que encontraron que algo no parecía concordar correctamente con la doctrina cristiana.

La biblia contiene errores que no son producto del traductor sino de quienes la transcribieron, esos errores son mínimos y varían de un idioma a otro. En mi biblia en castellano por ejemplo al describir las puertas de Jerusalén la omisión de una letra por parte del transcriptor convierte lo que debía ser Rubíes en Virus del Ántrax. Nada que un diccionario no pueda ayudarnos a notar y corregir. Aun cuando en la iglesia de la que soy miembro tienen su traducción predilecta yo prefiero la de la iglesia Evangélica porque contiene menos errores de transcripción.

Algunas biblias contienen más libros que otras porque son versiones en las que aun no se habían eliminado los libros apócrifos o se conservaron porque es una versión especial para estudiantes de Teología. Nada que realmente necesite leer un cristiano pero sirve de material de estudio a un alumno de la materia. Los textos apócrifos son libros cuya procedencia se desconoce y casi todos son escritos más bien por paganos que  por profetas. Pertenecen a una época en que los apellidos no existían y era fácil confundir a una persona con otra porque amparábamos el nombre con el lugar de procedencia de la persona y en la medida que la poblaciones crecieron la confusión adquirió matices de tal grado que fue necesaria la introducción del apellido así como hoy necesitamos además un numero de identificación.

Dado que en los anales antiguos se concede a los paganos mayor respeto que el que les concedemos hoy en día, a veces un brujo fue confundido con un profeta. En la antigüedad a los brujos se les llamaba profetas o videntes solo que eran profetas y videntes de un dios diferente al nuestro. En esos días en que la medicina no estaba aun ni en pañales ellos ocupaban un lugar de importancia en las comunidades y se les concedía el honor de ser consejeros de reyes y gobernantes. Hoy la medicina ha hecho innecesarios sus hechizos de salud y la cosmética reemplazo a los encantamientos de belleza de manera que nos resulta odiosa la comparación entre nuestros profetas y los brujos. Es fácil saber sin embargo cuando la persona es una u otra cosa por los hechos narrados. Nuestros profetas solo arrojaban una maldición si les era ordenado por Dios, no se les podía contratar para maldecir a un enemigo.

A la aseveración de muchos cristianos de que la biblia no contiene toda la doctrina; me permito asegurar que si la contiene. Simplemente nos hemos acostumbrado a leer solo aquellas escrituras que necesitamos leer obviando el resto. Aquellos que piensan, por ejemplo que en el milenio podrán vivir a lo largo de todos esos 1000 años en la tierra y que tendrán entonces tiempo para enmendar sus faltas encuentran respuesta a su idea precisamente en la biblia. Es allí en donde dice que durante el milenio cada hombre vivirá 100 años y será trasladado. Lo cual además nos indica que el juicio final es semejante al primero ya que si al cumplir cien años se nos traslada entonces se nos juzga en ese momento uno por uno y sin chances de argumentar con Dios y con nuestra propia mente como testigo de nuestros hechos.

A la aseveración de que la biblia es un libro difícil de entender debo traer a colación el hecho de que la biblia fue escrita de manera tal que pudiera ser entendida solo por quienes estén preparados para vivir el evangelio. Esto porque a mayor conocimiento mayor severidad en los juicios de Dios y si todos pudieran entenderla casi toda la tierra acabaría en el infierno por no obedecer leyes que sabían pero no estaban preparados para aplicarlas en su vida.

Si amigo, la biblia es el más antiguo texto de doctrina cristiana que existe traducido a todos los idiomas del mundo y también es el más completo y el más hermoso. Es la palabra de Dios tal y como fue escrita por los profetas de la antigüedad sin faltar ni en un ápice y sus enseñanzas siguen hoy en plena vigencia. Fue escrita para nosotros, para que podamos conocer a Dios y vivir sus enseñanzas y los profetas describieron la vida que llevamos hoy en ella porque la vieron en visiones y sabían que seriamos gente de duro corazón y que tendríamos en poco sus enseñanzas. Por eso a veces nos vemos reflejados en el texto, nos sentimos como si nos estuvieran hablando desde el polvo.

Your Worst Battle Is Between What You Know And What You Feel

We always say that truth set us free and truth is how we call the knowledge of doctrine. This assertion can be applied in all fields because if we take it literally means honesty takes us off the moral burden of concealment. That who has secret fields in his life lives with the same anxiety of offenders who fear being discovered. If we follow his doctrinal meaning this phrase refers to the fact that knowing the gospel makes clear what the limits of our freedoms are. These limits are generally inhabited by all that is the domain of the lust of the flesh.

Lust is the biblical term that we use to refer to the desires and passions of man. We know that overeating is sin but eating is delicious so sin and rarely obese feel sinners; could feel ugly but never sinners. We know that lust and sexual perversion are prohibited but fall to the possibility of a minute and a half of sinful orgasm and in this case we do feel sinners but fearlessly backslide again and again. There is much that can take us into the field of the lust of the flesh and the knowledge of what is right and wrong and expected punishment for the sinner does not stop us because mere knowledge is not much when it comes to flesh.

Only mechanism human beings have to regulate our actions is the right use of free will. It seems easy to say but oh dreadful adversity face whenever life calls us to choose between what is right and what we want to do, especially when the rest of the world considers good what is wrong to us. I must have been between 25 and 26 years of age when one day came to my seminary class the mother of one of my students and sat in the last row. Waited in silence for the whole class and when I finally finished she said, “-Sister I need help. This week I found my son masturbating and took him to a psychiatrist to tell him that's insane but he said it is normal for his age, he can always enjoy it as he doesn’t put aside school and activities to engage enjoy of complacency and since it helps release stress it's even healthy.”

Sin is channeled to a priest not to a psychiatrist.” One of our greatest failures as members of any church we attend to is that we fear our priests as if they were devil. Priest whatever your religion is a man trained to help us overcome our sins, no one better than him to guide us in becoming masters of ourselves but if we tell him what we secretly do lose our position as faithful members in his eyes and when it comes to religion most humans prefer appearance to redemption.

This is probably due to our placing him on our own plane and deciding that he will tell others what we did or segregate us because we would do just that if he told us his sins. Many times at leaving a meeting we commented to others that this priest has no idea of what he says or that talking is easy when you are not living the experience yourself but the reality is that every priest is trained to help others in that class of duties. No one is better than him to help us find the kind of activities that will help us stay away from temptation. In addition they are the ideal to finding motivation to overcome adversity and the best shoulder to cry on if we fall because he was taught to treat private lives of his faithful as sacred and also to separate sin from sinner and grant respect regardless of what we have done.

If it’s being hard to properly exercise your free will because of your own flesh ask your priest and he will guide you toward mastering your own desires.

 

Tu Peor Batalla Es Entre Lo Que Sabes Y Lo Que Sientes.

Siempre decimos que la verdad libera y verdad es la manera en que llamamos al conocimiento de la doctrina. La aseveración se puede aplicar sin embargo en todos los campos ya que si la tomamos de manera literal significa que la honestidad nos quita de encima la carga moral que implica el ocultamiento. El que tiene campos secretos en su vida vive con la misma zozobra del delincuente que teme ser descubierto. Si nos atenemos a su significado doctrinal la frase se refiere a que conocer el evangelio nos deja claro cuáles son los límites de nuestras libertades. Esos límites generalmente son habitados por todo lo que es dominio de la concupiscencia de la carne.

Concupiscencia es el término bíblico con el que nos referimos a los deseos y pasiones del ser humano. Sabemos que comer de mas es pecado pero comer es rico así que pecamos y rara vez los obesos nos sentimos pecadores; puede ser que nos sintamos feos pero pecadores nunca. Sabemos que la lujuria y la perversión sexual están prohibidas pero caemos ante la posibilidad de minuto y medio de pecaminoso orgasmo y en este caso si nos sentimos pecadores pero reincidimos sin ningún temor una y otra vez. Mucho es lo que nos puede llevar a adentrarnos en el terreno de los deseos de la carne y el conocimiento de lo que está bien y mal y del castigo previsto para el pecador no nos detiene ya que el mero conocimiento no sirve de mucho cuando se trata de la carne.

El único mecanismo que como seres humanos tenemos para regular nuestras acciones es el correcto uso del libre albedrio. Parece fácil al decirlo pero oh terrible adversidad enfrentamos cada vez que la vida nos pide elegir entre lo que es correcto y lo que deseamos hacer, sobre todo cuando el resto del mundo considera que esta bien aquello que para nosotros está mal. Yo debo haber tenido entre 25 y 26 años cuando un día llego a mi clase de seminario la madre de uno de mis alumnos y se sentó en la última fila. Espero en silencio durante toda la clase y cuando por fin termino ella dijo “–Hermana necesito ayuda. Esta semana encontré a mi hijo masturbándose y lo lleve al psiquiatra para que le diga que eso es insano pero él le dijo que es normal a su edad, que puede disfrutarlo siempre y cuando no ponga a un lado sus estudios y actividades para dedicarse a disfrutar de la autocomplacencia y que además libera el stress así que resulta incluso saludable.” 

Mi primera reacción fue reír; dije “–Claro hermana ¿que esperaba? el pecado se canaliza con el sacerdote no con el psiquiatra.” Una de nuestras grandes fallas como fieles de la iglesia de la que somos miembros es que tememos a nuestros sacerdotes más que al demonio. El sacerdote sea cual sea su religión es un hombre entrenado para ayudarnos a superar nuestros pecados, nadie mejor que él puede guiarnos en eso de llegar a ser dueños de nosotros mismos pero si le contamos aquello que hacemos a hurtadillas perdemos nuestra posición de miembro fiel ante sus ojos y cuando se trata de religión la mayoría de los seres humanos preferimos la apariencia que la redención.

Probablemente esto se deba a que lo colocamos en nuestro propio plano y decidimos que lo comentara a otros o nos segregara porque eso mismo haríamos nosotros si el nos confiara sus pecados. Muchas veces salimos de las reuniones comentando a otros que este sacerdote no tiene idea de lo que dice o que hablar es fácil cuando no se está viviendo la experiencia por si mismo pero la realidad es que el sacerdote es entrenado para ayudar a otros en esa clase de menesteres. Nadie mejor que él para ayudarnos a encontrar el tipo de actividades que nos alejaran de la tentación. Además el es ideal a la hora de encontrar motivación para vencer la adversidad y el mejor hombro en el cual refugiarnos si caemos puesto que se le enseño a tratar la vida privada de los fieles como algo sagrado y también a separar el pecado del pecador y concedernos respeto independientemente de lo que hayamos hecho.

Si te cuesta ejercer correctamente tu libre albedrio pues tu propia carne te lo impide recurre a tu sacerdote y el te guiara hacia el dominio de tus propios apetitos.

Leaving Past Back In The Past

There are times in everyone's life when we suffer setbacks that mark us in brutal ways. It may be that the death of a loved one buries us into the depths of such a great depression that we lose years trying to recover or a bankrupt in our business makes us lose entirely our north. Depression, enmities we obtain and rancor kept for deceptions suffered can hinder and even ruin whole new possibility in our lives.

When we insist on keeping fresh in our minds the memory of situations that produced such feelings they end up becoming a stubbing stone that prevents us from seeing clearly the future. Product of it we jumped at the opportunity to do good business because it involves someone we don’t want to relate to. We missed the opportunity to establish a new relationship because we are still engaged in hating our previous partner or crying his death. We stopped being happy because our souls are filled with bitterness and spite that do not allow us to enjoy another feeling and our minds are busy recalling situations that we should have left in the past.

It is true that events in our lives are like an print in stone that will never wipe out but the attitude we take toward them can determine our course no matter how hard these events are. Every loss in our lives whether commercial, personal or family has a process that must be met for us to leave it behind. This process consists of three stages; Despair, mourn and farewell.

To despair we arrive on our own. That is what we feel every time life strikes us with its merciless whip; we can stay in it for the rest of our lives, for a long time or just a good time. Our attitude towards the event is what will take us out and when I say attitude I mean the best for a desperate mind is a great deal of hard and strenuous work. The less time we have to unleash suffering our best though.

We call mourn time it takes us to make the event stop to hurt or embarrass us as applicable. Enter it when despair gives way to depression. There are mourns that last for the rest of life and mourns we leave after a short time. It depends on our courage. It has to do with our ability to face facts with our heads held high. When we reach that point where we say to ourselves that all we can do is to take courage to go on having clear that what we lived made us what we are and doing our best from now on is all we can do to improve our lives mourning ends; That assumption is precisely what we call farewell from there pain disappears and the event becomes no more than just another memory in our minds.

Time is to our lives what sand is to an hourglass, fast and merciless slips like sand and there is no way to do it back. If you really want to complete your destiny do not waste your life suffering for what already happened. Gird your soul with fortitude and advancing steadily toward the next chapter in the book of your life path. Experiences lived will alert you to hazards, will be the beacon to guide you. Fear not!

 

 

Dejar Atras El Pasado

Hay ocasiones en la vida de todos en las que sufrimos percances que nos marcan de una manera brutal. Puede ser que la muerte de un ser querido nos arroje en el fondo de una depresión tan grande que perdamos años intentando recuperarnos o que una banca rota en nuestros negocios nos haga perder por completo el norte que seguimos. La depresión, las enemistades que logramos y el rencor por las decepciones sufridas pueden entorpecer e incluso arruinar toda nueva posibilidad en nuestras vidas.

Cuando insistimos en conservar fresco en nuestras mentes el recuerdo de situaciones que produjeron esa clase de sentimientos ellos acaban por convertirse en una inmensa piedra que nos impide ver de manera clara el porvenir. Producto de ella dejamos pasar la oportunidad de hacer un buen negocio porque este involucra a alguien con quien no queremos relacionarnos. Dejamos pasar la oportunidad de establecer una nueva relación porque estamos aun enfrascados en odiar a nuestra pareja anterior o llorando su partida. Dejamos de ser felices porque nuestras almas están ocupadas con el rencor y el pesar que no nos permiten disfrutar de otro sentimiento y nuestras mentes están ocupadas rememorando una y otra vez situaciones que deberíamos haber dejado en el pasado.

Es verdad que los eventos en nuestras vidas son como un grabado en la piedra que no se borrara jamás pero la actitud que asumimos frente a ellos puede determinar nuestro rumbo independientemente de esos eventos. Toda perdida en nuestras vidas; sea comercial, familiar o personal, tiene un proceso que se debe cumplir para que podamos dejarlo atrás. Ese proceso consta de tres estadios. Desesperanza, duelo y despedida.

A la desesperanza llegamos solos, eso es lo que sentimos cada vez que la vida nos azota con su látigo inclemente; podemos quedarnos en ella por el resto de nuestras vidas, por un largo tiempo o por un buen rato. La actitud que asumimos ante los hechos es lo que nos sacara de ella y cuando hablo de actitud me refiero a que lo mejor para una mente desesperada es una gran dosis de trabajo arduo y extenuante. Entre menos tiempo tenemos para darle rienda suelta a nuestro pesar mejor.

Llamamos duelo al tiempo que nos toma lograr que el evento nos deje de doler o avergonzar según sea el caso. Entramos en él cuando la desesperanza cede el paso a la depresión. Hay duelos que duran por el resto de la vida y duelos que abandonamos después de un breve tiempo. Depende de nuestro propio valor. Tiene que ver con nuestra capacidad para enfrentar los hechos con la frente en alto. Cuando alcanzamos ese punto en el que nos decimos a nosotros mismos que todo lo que podemos hacer es llenarnos de valor y seguir adelante teniendo claro que lo vivido nos convirtió en el ser humano que somos hoy y que vivir mejor de hoy en adelante es todo lo que podemos hacer para mejorar nuestras vidas el duelo termina; Esa asunción de los hechos es precisamente la despedida a partir de allí el dolor desaparece y el evento pasa a ser solo otro recuerdo más en nuestras mentes.

El tiempo en nuestras vidas es como un reloj de arena, se cuela rápido e inclemente como la arena y no hay manera de hacerlo retroceder. Si realmente quieres completar tu destino no desperdicies tu vida en sufrir por lo que ya paso. Ciñe de fuerza tu alma y avanza con paso firme  hacia el próximo capítulo en el libro de tu vida. Lo vivido te servirá de alerta ante los peligros, será el faro que te guie. ¡No temas!
