We had been taught to restrain in expressing our
ideas. It's not right to hurt or offend just because we did not stop to think
about what were going to say before opening our mouths. People who declare the
veracity of facts they don't even know are found everywhere but when to the
teaching of doctrine matters we must be even more careful that to treat other
people's private lives.
Teaching lies is not the privilege of recent converts
and illiterate. I have heard many leaders respond to certain facts with what
might be called madness and the worst part is they sincerely believe in what
they teach. Therefore, I had the occurrence of making a list of the crazy
things I most often heard coming out of the mouths of our leaders
throughout my life.
1.) First one is rather a madness I've seen do. Have
you had known anyone who tried to fast 40 days as our Lord did? I do, in the
church I attend to and in other Christian churches it often occurs that people
somewhat fanatical about doctrine think they will improve their
spirituality level by fasting 40 days and 40 nights long as Jesus Christ
did. The result is the same produced by a hunger strike; person ends up
hospitalized and in some cases even die.
We could say Lord saved himself because he is God and
people would believe us but he was subject to a mortal body like us and
obviously was in good health.
What do you believe was the bread and wine which the
Lord took with him for? Truth is every 24 hours he closed his fast ate frugally
and started a new fasting. That is what is called continuously praying and fasting.
If not do it that way the person becomes delirious and is also easy prey of
evil spirits but in that stage it is difficult to tell the difference between
both cases. It was just until 40 days had elapsed that Lord was so weak Satan
dared to tempt him because obviously he had fed himself poorly but had fed.
Those who attempt to emulate him get sick before the first month.
2.) Have you heard any leader say that Satan brand his
people? That's not madness he does brand them. Madness is to ensure our
Identification Card number is our brand, the tattoos offered in stores are the
brand or that he puts the devil number on their foreheads. Those who practice
rites to worship Satan, whatever the name under which they worship him is
have tattooed on their bodies symbols that give them the power they hold. Some
carry those symbols like a necklace inscribed on their skin away from where
someone can notice through their cloth; others wear them around their waists,
on their arms and on their heads. Sometimes they tattoo the palms of their
hands or their feet. Everything depends on the rite they practice and some of
those tattoos are so cute that the unwary would not notice it is a brand.
3.) Have you heard anyone say you have to wait stood
on line to enter heaven? I've heard them describe the transcendence like a El
Greco's painting where people well ordered amount on a long spiral toward
heaven's door and they had ensured not only that husbands and fathers are the
ones who do the collecting but that husbands decide how morally clean should
their wives be to enter heaven because that only matters to both of them, but
we had discussed this before.
4.) Have you heard anyone say that Kolob is a star? I
heard this coming out of a leader lofty on the tops of religious power during
a speech given to the students of the Church's university. On the way back
home the student I went with walked looking at the sky and when asked why he
said "to run if I see Kolob coming". It is true that sometimes panic
to talk to public play tricks on us but confusing the dissolution of the veil
that separates this world from the spiritual world with a star is too
much. That would mean that God is an alien with which everything written in
books would be a lie.
Sure I've heard more than this but space is short and
I do not want to leave without recommending to the young and newly converts not
to repeat what their leaders say unless they know without any doubt what they
say is truth.

Se nos dice con frecuencia
que seamos comedidos al expresar nuestras ideas. No está bien herir u ofender
solo porque no nos detuvimos a pensar en lo que diríamos antes de abrir
nuestras bocas. Personas que declaran la veracidad de hechos que desconocen
hallamos en todas partes pero cuando se trata de la enseñanza de la doctrina es
preciso ser más cuidadoso que al tratar la vida privada de otras personas.
El enseñar mentiras no es
privilegio de recién conversos e iletrados. He oído a muchos líderes dar
respuesta a ciertos hechos con lo que podríamos llamar locuras y lo más grave
del asunto es que ellos sinceramente creen en lo que enseñan. Se me ha
ocurrido, por tanto, hacer una lista de las locuras que con más frecuencia oí
salir de la boca de nuestros líderes a lo largo de mi vida.
1.) La primera es más bien
una locura que he visto cometer. ¿Han tenido conocidos que intentaron ayunar 40
días como el Señor? Yo si, en la iglesia a la que asisto y en otras iglesias
cristianas es frecuente que personas un tanto fanatizadas con la doctrina
piensen que elevaran su nivel de espiritualidad ayunando durante 40 días y 40
noches como Jesucristo. El resultado es el mismo que produce una huelga de hambre.
La persona termina hospitalizada y en algunos casos muere.
Podríamos asegurar que el
Señor se salvo porque él es Dios y nos creerían pero él estaba sujeto a un
cuerpo mortal como nosotros y obviamente en buen estado de salud.
¿Para qué creen que era el
pan y el vino que el Señor llevo consigo? La verdad es que Cada 24 horas el
cerro su ayuno se alimento frugalmente e inicio un nuevo ayuno. A eso es a lo
que se le llama orar y ayunar ininterrumpidamente. De no hacerlo de esa manera
la persona comienza a delirar y es además presa fácil de espíritus malignos
pero en ese estado es difícil notar la diferencia entre ambas cosas. No fue
sino hasta haber transcurrido 40 días que el Señor estuvo tan débil como para
que Satanás osara tentarlo porque obviamente él se había alimentado escasamente
pero se había alimentado. Quienes intentan emularlo enferman antes del primer
mes.
2.) ¿Han oído a algún
líder decir que Satanás marca a los suyos? Eso no es locura el si los marca.
Locura es asegurar que nuestro número de identidad es la marca, que los
tatuajes que se ofrecen en las tiendas son la marca o que les pone el número
diabólico en la frente. Los que practican ritos de adoración a Satanás, sea
cual sea el nombre bajo el que lo adoren llevan sus cuerpos tatuados con símbolos
que les confieren el poder que ostentan. Unos llevan esos símbolos como si
fuera un collar inscrito en su piel lejos de donde alguien lo pueda notar a
través del escote, otros los llevan alrededor de la cintura, en sus brazos o en
sus cabezas. A veces se tatúan las palmas de sus manos o los pies. Todo depende
del rito que practiquen y algunos de esos tatuajes son tan bellos que el
incauto no notara que es una marca.
3.) ¿Acaso les dijo
alguien que para entrar en el cielo hay que hacer cola? Yo los he oído
describir la trascendencia como si fuera un cuadro del Greco en donde las
personas correctamente ordenadas ascienden en un larga espiral hacia las
puertas celestes y los he oído asegurar no solo que son los padres y esposos
los que efectúan el recogimiento sino que es el marido quien decide que tan
limpia moralmente debe ser su esposa para alcanzar la salvación ya que eso solo
le compete a ellos dos, pero de esto ya hemos hablado antes.
4.) ¿oyeron a alguien
decir que Kolob es una estrella? Esto lo escuche decir a un líder encumbrado en
las cimas del poder religioso durante una conferencia ofrecida a los
estudiantes de la universidad de la iglesia. De regreso a casa el joven con el
que había asistido no paraba de mirar el cielo y cuando le pregunte porqué dijo
que para correr si veía venir a Kolob. Es verdad que a veces los nervios nos
juegan malas pasadas pero confundir el descorrimiento del velo que separa el
mundo espiritual del mundo en que moramos con una estrella es demasiado. Eso
implicaría que Dios es un extraterrestre con lo cual todo lo escrito en los
libros vendría a ser mentira.
Claro que he oído más que
esto pero el espacio es corto y no me quiero ir sin recomendarles a los jóvenes
y recién conversos que no repitan lo que los lideres dicen a menos que sepan
sin lugar a dudas que es cierto.
