Bravo Women, You Are Doing It Right!

I was meditating on the scripture that talks about keeping our souls clean of the blemish of this world and somehow my mind traveled to human nature. No, I am not trying to talk about sin and weakness of character.

Before coming to this world every human being was unique and individual and although much of our habits and character has to do with the kind of education we receive there is a part of us that is vestige of the immortal one we were before. There were very different kinds of souls in heavens: meek, envious, arrogant, funny, biting, etc.  When Satan felt a third of the hosts of heaven felt with him. If you don’t believe there was good and bad ones in heaven explain me then; why did they lose their first stage?

What undoubtedly was never in heaven were people without rights. Free will was as universal as it is on earth and women were regarded with the same degree of authority that men. In fact, priesthood which is the power angels hold is complete only when a man and a woman exercise it together. There was a woman working shoulder to shoulder with every man in heaven. Does this mean that there are women in hell? Yes! It also means that there were women helping to create this world and there were women escorting Satan and his hosts to the bottom of the abyss.

Given the great diversity of religions existing in this world it can be a little complicated for some to speak about priesthood in women but in the scriptures we find references of women holding priesthood in ancient times and even today in some churches women can be priests but this is topic for another day. The fact is that we were equal and that except for the physical differences our gender implies we were treated with the same deference.

What I really want to talk about today is how unfortunate it is that even today there are countries in this world that undervalue women and deny them the right to work, free transit, possession of property, the exercise of suffrage and even the right to dress according to the dictates of their own conscience. Women are not less valuable than men nor less intelligent or capable, nor are the embodiment of sin as it is said in some countries when talking about the sin of Adam and Eve. In fact this was not a sin but a transgression. We call transgression any offense we need to commit to obey a higher law. The only way they could fulfill God's plan was coming out of their state of innocence and purity and therefore out of Eden so they had to disobey in order to be proven. Can you imagine at what point would God's plan be if Eve had not taken the initiative? Maybe they would still be wandering naked in Eden.

Friends, how awful it is for women to keep on an unhappy marital relationship because if we divorce we lose everything in life because in our country women have no right to work. How terrible it is to widowed and sees how our properties go to another person because we have no male children and women in our country have no right to private property. How terrible it is to see our husband die because we were alone when myocardial and women in our country have no right to drive a car so that we could not save his life although our husband has more that one car. How dreadful see a bad leader driving our country into bankruptcy because the vote of women that would have made ​​a difference on Election Day is not allowed.

I want to start this New Year saying:

BRAVO for women who are fighting for their rights in all countries of the world!

BRAVO for women who are facing adversity and achieving their goals!

BRAVO for women who are facing life alone and proving themselves how valuable they are!

BRAVO for women who are rising a new generation of people free of discrimination and mistreating by the education of their own children!

BRAVO for you women that are beautiful but also intelligent and noble and wonderful and good!

Let’s remember in each of our prayers this year to invoke God’s protection for our leaders of the battle for the right of all of us.

 

 

¡Bravo Mujer, Lo Estás Haciendo Bien!

Estaba meditando en la escritura que habla de conservarnos limpios de las manchas del mundo y de alguna manera mi mente viajo hasta la naturaleza humana. No; no intento hablar de pecado y fragilidad de carácter.

Antes de venir a este mundo cada ser humano era único e individual y aun cuando mucho de nuestros hábitos y carácter tiene que ver con la clase de educación que recibimos hay una parte en nosotros que es vestigio del ser inmortal que antes fuimos. Había de todo en los cielos: mansos, envidiosos, prepotentes, chistosos, mordaces, etc. Cuando Satanás cayó una tercera parte de las huestes del cielo cayo con él. Si no me crees que había de todo explícame entonces porque perdieron ellos su primer estado.

Lo que sin lugar a dudas nunca hubo en los cielos fue seres sin derechos. El libre albedrio era tan universal como lo es en la tierra y las mujeres eran consideradas con el mismo grado de autoridad que los hombres. De hecho el sacerdocio que es el poder que un ángel ostenta solo es completo cuando un hombre y una mujer lo ejercen juntos. Había una mujer trabajando hombro a hombro con cada hombre en los cielos. ¿Significa esto que hay mujeres en el infierno? ¡Sí!, también significa que hubo mujeres ayudando a crear la tierra y hubo mujeres escoltando a Satanás y sus huestes hasta el fondo del abismo.

Dada la gran diversidad de religiones que existen en este mundo puede resultar un tanto difícil para algunos hablar de sacerdocio en la mujer pero en las escrituras encontramos menciones de mujeres que tuvieron el sacerdocio en la antigüedad y en algunas iglesias aun hoy hay mujeres sacerdotes pero esto es tema para otra ocasión. El hecho es que éramos iguales y que excepto por la diferencia física que nuestro sexo implica se nos trataba con las mismas  deferencias.

De lo que realmente quiero hablar hoy es de lo lamentable que resulta el que aun hoy haya países en este mundo que subvalúan a la mujer y le impiden el derecho al trabajo, el libre tránsito, la tenencia de bienes, el ejercicio del sufragio e incluso el derecho a vestir conforme a los dictados de su propia conciencia. La mujer no es menos valiosa que el hombre ni menos inteligente o capaz y tampoco es la encarnación del pecado como en algunos países se dice cuando se habla del pecado de Adam y Eva. De hecho esto no fue un pecado sino una transgresión. Llamamos transgresión a la falta que nos vemos en la necesidad de cometer para obedecer una ley mayor. La única manera de que el plan de Dios se cumpliese era que ellos salieran de su estado de ingenuidad y pureza y por tanto del Edén de manera que debían desobedecer para que pudieran ser probados. ¿Se imaginan en qué punto estaría el plan de Dios si Eva no hubiera tomado la iniciativa? Tal vez aun estarían vagando desnudos por el Edén.

Amigos, que terrible es para la mujer permanecer en una relación conyugal desdichada porque si nos separamos lo perdemos todo en la vida porque en nuestro país la mujer no tiene derecho al trabajo. Que terrible es enviudar y ver como nuestros bienes pasan a manos de otra persona porque no tenemos hijos varones y en nuestro país la mujer no tiene derecho a la propiedad privada. Que terrible ver a nuestro marido morir porque estábamos solos cuando se infarto y en nuestro país la mujer no tiene derecho a conducir un automóvil de manera que no logramos salvarle la vida aun cuando nuestro marido tenia más de un vehículo. Que espantoso ver un mal líder conducir nuestro país a la bancarrota porque el voto de la mujer que habría marcado una diferencia el día de las elecciones no es permitido.

Quiero iniciar este nuevo año con un:

¡BRAVO por las mujeres que están luchando por sus derechos en todos los países del mundo!

¡BRAVO por las mujeres que están enfrentando la adversidad y logrando objetivos!

¡BRAVO por las mujeres que están enfrentando la vida solas y probándose a sí mismas lo valiosas que son!

¡BRAVO por las mujeres que están levantando una nueva generación de hombres que no discriminen ni maltraten por medio de la educación de sus propios hijos!

¡BRAVO por ti mujer que eres bella pero además inteligente y noble y grande y buena!

Que en cada una de nuestras oraciones este año podamos recordar invocar la protección de Dios para nuestras abanderadas de la lucha por el derecho de todas.
